1. 2. How to install correctly? In fact, it's very simple, just three points. First, the opening of the oil drain screw (vent) must face upward under all installation conditions. Second, relatively, the external oil pipeline of the brake caliper must be located downward. Third, when the brake disc rotates, its rotation direction path must follow the direction from the small piston of the brake caliper to the large piston.
3. After installing the caliper, the air exhaust operation in the brake oil pipe and caliper is also very important. As long as there is a little air in the oil circuit and caliper, the braking effect will not be brought into full play, and it will also cause very dangerous situations such as soft brake pedal, insufficient rebound and weak brake. 4. The running in of the installed brake disc and brake pad, also known as the opening process, is also very important.
According to my personal opening habits and experience, opening is not difficult. This opening process is also applicable to the running in process after replacing a new brake disc or brake pad. No matter what parts of the brake are replaced, when they just come out of the repair shop, the refitting master will give thousands of instructions to step on the brake slowly at the beginning and don't drive too hard,
because the brake disc and brake pad are not fully run in, and the brake force is still in a running in state, so it will be soft or weak when braking.
At this time, we'd better find a road with fewer cars, the best is a highway. The car accelerates to about 100km / h, then slowly step on the brake, slow down the car to about 30km / h, and repeat this operation for about 10 to 15 times. Then, find a safe parking place, have a rest, have a cup of coffee, wait until the brake system is almost cooled, and then repeat the operation just now, about 10 to 15 times. After such operation, observe the surface of the brake disc, the friction is uniform, and there are no groove marks of different depths. Basically, the preliminary running in of the new brake parts is basically completed. If the surface uniform friction is not achieved, repeat the above operation once or twice until the surface is perfect. After that, during the daily driving of 1000-2000 km, don't drive violently and brake violently. This is a deep running in process.
After the running in of about 2000 km, the braking effect should gradually reach the best effect.
