Installation method of brake caliper bridge position

The function of bridge location (also known as bridge code) is to connect and fix the brake caliper, which needs to be specially designed for special vehicles. Most of them are of equal design. Some products will be marked with the front and rear directions, but the left and right fixed directions are not marked. During installation, some people found that the installation could not be carried out according to previous experience. They thought it was the design problem of the product itself, so they carried out destruction and transformation. In fact, most of the genuine bridge positions are accurately calculated, so we must first determine whether the installation position is correct.

The main function is to link the caliper to the horn and fix the caliper! The closed bridge positions of each vehicle are matched together, but according to the different data design, there are four ways to link the bridge positions, 9501 / 9502 / 9503 / 9504 (generally, if the caliper cannot be installed on the brake disc due to any installation method, you can change other installation methods of the bridge position by yourself, or consult the supplier directly!)

Install the calipers. The calipers are divided into left and right. We only need to pay attention to one point: the end of the emptying screw is upward. Because the density of air is less than that of oil, so the installation can exhaust the air. Any brake caliper follows this principle.

The most cumbersome thing is to install the steel throat. For the same reason, connect the steel throat to the caliper first, and don't worry to remove the other end to prevent air from entering. The steel throat at one end of the caliper has a small radian. Pay attention to this installation and pay attention to the installation direction.

General steel throats are equipped with clips.

Then fix the steel throat properly.

Coil the steel throat to avoid rubbing things.

Finally, remove the oil pipe connecting one end of the car, and then connect the modified steel pipe. The screws here are particularly difficult to screw, so you have to be patient.

After installing the steel throat, we should also pay more attention to the ABS line, and then we can check whether the oil pipe will scratch and kill the left or right steering wheel.

The most important step is to evacuate and eliminate the air between the newly installed brake caliper and the master cylinder. Two people can cooperate. Step on it -------- step on it (and then another person loosens the oil nozzle screw to evacuate) ------ repeat it again and again (pay attention to remember to add brake oil to the engine cover) ------ until the pressure of the sprayed oil is relatively strong.

Finally, be sure to clean the residual brake oil from the drain nozzle to avoid the residual brake oil corroding the surrounding paint.
