Product Description

Jekit Upgrade V4 Caliper 380x28mm Dual Caliper For Maserati Giboli

Generally speaking, when we refit the brake, we change the opposed piston caliper. The calipers are four piston, six piston and eight piston.

Precautions before and after brake pad replacement:

first, check whether the replaced brake pad is a pure accessory (i.e. supporting product), whether the integrity, anti-counterfeiting mark and packaging mark of the product package are consistent with the mark on the brake pad, and whether the product model is consistent with the content of the certificate. Before lifting the vehicle, open the cover containing brake oil and loosen the tire screws diagonally. If a simple jack is used for support, the jack shall be well supported and the wheels without replacing the brake pads shall be reinforced. Remove the tire, loosen the fastening screw of the tong body, check the screw and the sliding guide rod of the Tong, remove the sediment and oil stain on it, and apply lubricating oil for maintenance. Remove the old brake pad and check the wear degree of the brake disc for groove and mess. If the brake disc is seriously worn (3mm deep on one side), it shall be replaced with a new brake disc with a cycle of 80000-120000 km, otherwise the wear of the newly replaced brake pad will be accelerated, the direction will shake during braking, and the braking force is too small.

What should I do for the daily maintenance of the brake disc: 1. Will the brake disc be worn out? This is a matter of course. Compared with brake pads, the loss of brake discs is much slower than that of brake pads. Generally, technicians in car stores will only prompt to replace brake pads and brake oil. However, the brake disc will be worn after a certain service mileage (reference, picture and inquiry). The surface of the brake disc is uneven or the thickness of the brake disc does not meet the standard, which will seriously affect the braking performance in the long run.

2. Will washing the car hurt the brake disc? Generally speaking, how can car washing hurt the brake disc when it is made of such hard material as the brake disc? In fact, in our daily brake use, the brake disc will generate a lot of heat due to vehicle deceleration friction, and the temperature will be very high. At this time, the owner chose to go to the car beauty shop to wash the car. Before the brake disc could cool down, the cold water was sprayed on the brake disc. When the steel brake disc is cooled quickly with water instead of natural cooling, thermal expansion and contraction will distort the steel brake disc, and cracks will appear in serious cases. When driving after the brake disc is deformed, the vehicle will shake obviously when braking, or even the brake deviates! The brake disc with low deformation can be restored to balance by means of "CD", but if the brake disc has high deformation, it must be replaced with a new brake disc. When washing the car in the car beauty shop, it is recommended to dry the car to cool down naturally, and then wash the car for maintenance.

3. Avoid abnormal brake noise. Competitive brake pads are suitable for long-term extreme high temperature conditions. Because of different material formulations and different service conditions, it is normal to "hiss". However, attention should be paid to the "hissing" brake noise of ordinary civil vehicles. This may be the problem of brake pads. Some car owners see that the brake pads of a car are competitive and think they will be better than ordinary civil brake pads. Who knows that the brakes become worse and make a strange noise at the same time! The working temperature of competitive brake pads is relatively high. It is necessary to reach a certain working temperature before normal braking, so it is not suitable for civil use. As long as the normal temperature of general civil brake pads is the normal working temperature, they can maintain the braking effect of normal performance.
The other is that the brake disc is excessively worn and there are uneven depressions on the surface of the brake disc, which may be caused by foreign matters hidden in the brake pad or the material of the brake pad and long-term unclean maintenance. The owner shall pay attention to cleaning the brake pads and brake discs to reduce foreign matters entering the brake system, and replace the qualified brake pads

Tips:

1. After the new brake is installed, 800-1000 km running in is required. During this period, do not slam on the brake. Slamming on the brake is easy to damage the disc and deform the disc. During the running in period, the braking effect increases gradually with the driving kilometers. Increase the effect by 20% at about 300km, increase the effect by another 20% within 600km, and complete the running in at 800-1000km

2. Do not wash the brake disc with water immediately after fierce driving, which is easy to deform the brake disc and cause shaking
