The parking brake usually refers to the manual brake installed on the motor vehicle, referred to as the handbrake, which is used to stabilize the vehicle after the vehicle is stopped and avoid accidents caused by slipping when the vehicle is parked on a slope road. To apply the parking brake, press down on the brake pedal and pull the parking brake lever all the way up. When parking in extremely cold climates, the following procedures should be followed:
